JPMorgan Chase Awarded Project of the Year

ISE Award

JPMorgan Chase was awarded the Northeast 2012 Information Security Project of the Year Award for the “JPMC Trusted Email Registry,” a project based on their implementation of the Agari Email Trust Network.

From this project, JPMC management learned that of the nearly 4 billion emails sent each year purporting to be from JPMC, over 600 million (15%) are phish and other malicious emails sent by cyber criminals, not JPMC.

The Agari Email Trust Network has enabled JPMC to block these malicious emails, resulting in

  • Protection for over 2 billion consumers (both customers and potential customers),
  • Preventing over $2 million in damages to potential victims, not to mention the associated cost to JPMC
  • Preserving the strong JP Morgan Chase brand and
  • Increasing the lift in email marketing
