John Wilson is the field chief technology officer at Agari, responsible for researching and utilizing the company’s advanced data security insights to drive continuous technology innovation. Prior to Agari, Wilson served as the chief technology officer of Brandmail Solutions, where he developed the world’s first authentication-based anti-phishing solution. Before Brandmail Solutions, he held chief technology officer positions at several technology startups including Concurro, Inc. and 365 media. During Wilson’s distinguished career, he also held leadership positions at SAP, Cadence Design Systems and Oracle. An esteemed security expert, Wilson is often called upon to assist major organizations in fighting cyber crime. During his career, he assisted Microsoft and the FS-ISAC with taking down the B54 Citadel botnet by providing data related to Citadel botnet infections and acting as a declarant in the civil forfeiture action filed in US District Court. Wilson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.
